Our adventure into the equine world began in 2012 when we gifted our horse crazy 9-year-old daughter a book of 10 riding lessons. We've been on a rollercoaster journey of borrowed and leased horses, acquisition and subsequent sudden loss of our first horse. Attending events all over the North Island, transporting horses, camping and cooking on site in many varied and often remote locations. So, we fully understand what’s required to safely transport our equine companions. Having observed the different horse transport options and noticing a gap between towed floats and horse trucks, we set out to understand what might sit in the middle, and were intrigued by the occasional but seemingly rare horse van. Fast forward to today and after a lot of research and visits to manufacturers in the UK, we (NZ HorseVans Limited) are excited to be the official distributor of Bloomfields Horseboxes and Team Bloomfields clothing in New Zealand.

The Bloomfields story is incredible. Starting out in 2005 in the stable yard of Dean Moody‘s parents property (called Bloomfield), Dean fabricated his first horsebox. Dean has since grown the business to what it is today. Being a horse owner from a young age and a trained vehicle body technician, Dean always strives to challenge the status quo of horsebox manufacture.

Today, Bloomfields is a globally recognised brand with an outstanding reputation for exceptional build quality and always striving to stay ahead with innovation. With a dedicated team of engineers and designers who constantly create new innovative features and test new materials to be sure that all Bloomfields horseboxes are as strong and safe as can be.
